Prof. Dr. Claudio Fabian Szlafsztein ✉️ E-mail: Full Professor at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina, 1991), a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from Hokkaido University (Japan, 1995), and a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences (Geography) from Kiel University (Germany, 2003). Visiting Professor at the University of Pittsburgh (United States) (2021-2022). Has experience in territorial planning and management, coastal management, disaster risk and vulnerability analysis and management, and climate change adaptation. CNPq PQ2 Productivity Fellow (2017-2021). Was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Natural Resource Management in the Amazon (UFPA, 2010-2011), General Director of the Environment Center (UFPA, 2013-2014), Dean of International Relations of UFPA (2016), and Director of International Relations of UFPA (2016-2019). Currently a Professor at the Center for Advanced Amazonian Studies. Member of the UNFCCC expert panel and the International Society for Development and Sustainability (Japan). President of the Association of Brazilian Fellows in Germany (Pará state section). |
Prof. Dr. Ivamauro Ailton De Sousa Silva Quadrennium 2025-2028
✉️ E-mail: Holds a Teaching Degree in Geography from the Federal University of Goiás, a Master's in Geography from the Federal University of Goiás, and a Ph.D. in Geography from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Currently a professor at the Federal University of Pará, where he works in the Faculty of Geography, the Graduate Program in Anthropic Studies in the Amazon, and the Graduate Program in Geography. Has experience in Physical Geography, with an emphasis on Climatology and Climatic Geomorphology, working mainly on the following themes: landscape dynamics, environmental analysis, desertification, arenization, rainfall variability, Piauí savanna (cerrado), eroded lands (badlands), nature, and landscape in Geography teaching. Leader of the "Physical Geography, Landscape, and Environment" research group (CNPq), member of the Badlands Working Group of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG), and reviewer for major journals in Geography. Serves on the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Association of Physical Geography (2024-2028 Term) as Treasurer. Former professor at UNEMAT, UFMT, and SEDUC-MT. |

Holds a Post-Doctorate in Geography from the Federal University of Piauí (2019); Ph.D. in Geography from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2017). Completed a sandwich doctorate in Geography at the University of Coimbra (2017). Holds a Master's in Development and Environment from the Federal University of Piauí (2011) and a Full Teaching Degree in Geography from the Federal University of Piauí (2008). Coordinates the "Integrated Analysis in the Xingu River Basin" research group. She is vice-director of the Faculty of Geography (UFPA - Altamira Campus) and a professor in the PROFGEO-UFPA Professional Master's program. Coordinates the extension project "Geological-geomorphological heritage and potential for Geotourism in the integrated Xingu region". Works mainly in the area of education and research on the following themes: Development and Environment, socio-environmental vulnerability, watersheds, sustainable development, urban and rural environmental impacts, environmental management, territorial planning, and environmental education. |

Prof. Dr. Adolfo Da Costa Oliveira Neto ✉️ E-mail: Professor at the Faculty of Geography and Cartography (FGC) and the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGEO) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Director of Interinstitutional and Social Relations at UFPA. Member of the Historical and Geographical Institute of Pará (IHGP), being the founder of chair 42. Ph.D. in Geography from the Graduate Program in Geography at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (2017), Presidente Prudente campus. Master's in Education from the Graduate Program in Education at the State University of Pará (2011), holds a Bachelor's and Teaching Degree in Geography from the Federal University of Pará (2010) and a Full Teaching Degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Pará (2007). Leader of the Research Group on Geography Teaching in Underdeveloped Countries (GPEG/CNPQ). Coordinated the implementation of Inclusive Special Teaching, Rural Education, and Indigenous Intercultural Education degrees at UFPA as deputy coordinator of Parfor Equidade (2024). Coordinated the UFPA-UniLuanda cooperation in Angola (2022-2024). Worked as a professor in the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGG) at the State University of Pará (UEPA) (2021-2023). Visiting Professor at Cardiff University in the UK (2018). Coordinated the Undergraduate Course (Teaching and Bachelor's) in Geography with an Emphasis on Rural Territorial Development, offered in partnership between UFPA and INCRA, through the National Education Program in Agrarian Reform (PRONERA) (2015-2022). Profa. Dra. Luciana Martins Freire Quadrennium 2025-2028

Degree in Geography (Bachelor's - 2004 and Teaching Degree - 2006), also from UECE. Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) on the Ananindeua University Campus, linked to the Geography Teaching Degree course, the Professional Master's Program in Geography Teaching in a National Network (PROFGEO/UFPA), the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGEO/UFPA), and the Specialization Course in Geography Teaching (CEENG), where she is currently the coordinator. Has experience in Geography, with an emphasis on Physical Geography and the Environment, working mainly on the following themes: Geodiversity, Geomorphology, and Physical Geography Teaching. In addition to being a Geographer, she is a Tourism Technician - Agency and Guide (2002) from the then Federal Center for Technological Education (CEFET, now IFCE). Worked as a Research and Mapping Agent at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), supervising the team of census agents in preparation activities for the 2010 Census.
